His principle interests are in the politics that surround the globalised economy of news imagery. As such the work often takes a sort of para-reportage form. The emphasis in his work is on a self-reflective addressing of current geopolitical realities, and in particular the sites along the political fault lines that constitute war zones. What can these images mean to their detached audience? Geographically his fields of on- location research since 2004 includes Afghanistan , Pakistan , Kashmir, the Middle East, DR Congo and most recently North Korea
Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of fine Arts, 2003 - 2009 and CCA Research Program Kitakyushu, Japan, 2009 – 2010. Lives and works in Copenhagen.
His work has been shown in various galleries and museums in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Germany and Japan.
